Married to Judy Hajlo Schwartz, Mike is a proud father of 4 children: Twins Matt and Hannah, Sophie, and Ellie.

Mike served as Vice President of the Tiger Pride Booster Club under Chris Preiner and President after Chris Preiner through 2010. He coached the Hockey team in 2007 & 2008, capturing a CAA Championship in 2008, and also coached girls softball in 2007, 2008, 2009, and was CAA Runner up 2007 and 2009.

During his tenure as the booster club president, he:

  • added a new sprinklers on the field

  • added a 2nd set of Bleachers in gym along with a new sound system and new lights

  • added a sidewalk to parking lot from gym doors

  • initiated the savings for the gym floor (but others made it happen)

  • added banners in the gym

  • started the concession stand at home games

  • secured rounds of the CAA playoffs in VB and BB for additional fundraising dollars
